Poutine Pix - 57

Sometimes life throws you curve balls. Take for example the fact that the midnight poutine podcast is going on a bit of an holiday hiatus. What ever will you do? I suggest putting this episode on repeat for the next 20 days to drown out bad xmas tunes, especially the tracks by Vampire Weekend and Apostle of Hustle. Whatever you do, all the best for the end of 07. Talk to you again in the new year:

Matt Lipscombe - Heroes and Promises
Krief - Worries are Over
Vampire Weekend - Walcott
Apostle of Hustle - Chances Are
Major Maker - Last Goodbye
Alexisonfire - Rough Hands
Vulgaires Machins - Puits Sans Fond
The Dresden Dolls - Dirty Business
Issa - Willow

Poutine Pix - 56

Buried in 31cm of snow, I still manage to bring you the best that Montreal's live music scene has to offer this week. And by I, I mean midnight poutine. And by best, I mean the only songs I could find available for download from artist pages. Check out the great tracks by Kevin Drew, Cass McCombs, and an interview with Craig Cardiff:

Socalled - 2nd Cup Bless the Wine
Kevin Drew - Safety Bricks
Los Campesinos - Don't Tell Me to do the Math(s)
Sheldon Rourke - Hang Time
Mississippi Grover - I'm Buried Alive
Pascale Picard Band - Annoying
Craig Cardiff - When People Go
Cass McCombs - That's That
José González - Down the Line
Malajube - Montréal -40°C
