Poutine Pix - 144

Happy 2010 folks. We know the year started two weeks ago, but the Midnight Poutine Podcast has been on an extended vacation (i.e. we're lazy). We're back though, and excited to get another year of delicious music off on the right foot. There are a bunch of good shows that promise to snap you out of your winter comas, including Igloofest, Indyish's Dance Mess or Indie Montreal's Grand Analog show. We hope your new year's resolution wasn't to stay home more often.

The Antlers - Two
The Hoof and the Heel - Fireworks
Tegan and Sara - On Direction
Hollerado - Juliette
Jean LeLoup - Le Roi se Meurt
Grand Analog - Electric City
DSTR - Third Wheel
LA Riots - That's Not My Name (remix of The Ting Tings)
Elizabeth Bruce - Pissing Games
Shitting Bear - The Fisherman's Wife
Old Man Luedecke - Big Group Breakfast

Poutine Pix - Pop MTL Preview #3

Ready. Set. Pop. It's go time here in Montreal and over at Midnight Poutine we're already exhausted thanks to the taxing demands of daily podcasts (check here if you missed episode #1 and #2). On this show we cover bands playing on Friday, Oct. 2. Golden Isles - Take It
Murder Ford Monument - The King Is Dead
The Black Hollies - Paisley Pattern Ground
Ira Lee - Montreal (feat. Khyro)
